Terms of service

Last updated: 11 August 2026

These terms govern your use of pahar.fashion and any purchase you make from it. By placing an order you accept them.

Pahar is operated by EIGHTPAHAR PVT. LTD. Contact: hello@pahar.fashion.

Who can order

You must be at least 18, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, and be able to enter a contract under Indian law. You're responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us at checkout.

Our pieces

Every Pahar garment is hand-painted and finished in small batches. No two are identical. Variation in the brushwork, the placement of threads and cords, and the fall of the tassels is inherent to how they are made and is not a fault. Colours also render differently on different screens, so the photographs on the site are a faithful representation rather than an exact match.

The rakhi threads on this collection are attached so that they can be cut away after the festival, leaving the mandala artwork. Cutting them is permanent and ends your ability to return the piece — see the Refund Policy.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST. We may change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order. Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider; we do not store your card details.

If a price or product description is listed in error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full. We'll tell you rather than quietly shipping something different.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you a dispatch confirmation, and the contract forms at that point. We may decline an order — for example if a piece has sold out, if we can't deliver to your address, or if we suspect fraud — and you'll be refunded in full if we do.

Stock is limited by how much we can make by hand. A piece showing as available can sell out between your adding it to the cart and completing checkout.

Shipping and returns

Set out in full in our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, both of which form part of these terms.

Intellectual property

The artwork, designs, photographs, text and the Pahar name are owned by EIGHTPAHAR PVT. LTD and protected under Indian and international law. Buying a garment gives you the garment, not a licence to the artwork on it. You may not reproduce, copy or commercially use our designs or photographs without written permission.

You're welcome — encouraged, really — to photograph and share pieces you own on social media.

Your conduct

Don't use this site to break the law, don't attempt to interfere with it or gain unauthorised access to it, and don't scrape it to rebuild our catalogue elsewhere. Automated agents are welcome to read the store; see /agents.md for how.

Liability

We stand behind what we make. To the extent Indian law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or excludes liability for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy

Handled in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to it, and the date at the top tells you when this one was last changed.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Gujarat, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
